Two Canadian made high efficiency wood burning fireplaces are in place. They are both the same, manufactured in Quebec. They are real Fireplaces, not inserts, so are 98% efficient and produce 100,000 BTU in heat units each. Both have fans to circulate the warm air. They are fresh air fireplaces so do not take warm air from the home, but bring in fresh air to fuel the fire.
The lovely Acrylic stucco on the Chase, which has insulation the entire exterior with foam insulation board creates a warm environment for the chimney’s to draw extremely well. Six inch insulated stainless steel chimneys are inside with a custom made Chase Cap. Most days these two fireplaces will produce almost all the heat required for the home.
