Winter is a glorious time in this home and region. The home is in what’s called the snow belt. You have ski resorts all around you and the Phoenix ski hill is very close of course, roughly 12 minutes. Hiking and snowshoeing right from the yard is incredible and you can get up into the trail network up top and go for miles there. The scenery is incredible. It’s not a cold winter here with most days – 4 to – 5, only a few days below -15 and if you get 1 day at -20 or so that will be it.
You do get snow here though so you have a great playground for winter sports. Snowmobile, snow shoes, cross country skies, a dream for that.
